After a long, cold winter, it feels incredible to finally feel the warmth of the sun on my back and breathe in the fresh, earthy scents that only spring can bring. There’s something nostalgic about it—it takes me back to childhood days spent outside, exploring what the melting snow slowly revealed. It may seem odd, but those quiet discoveries are some of my fondest memories.
Now that I’m retired, I find myself appreciating the change of seasons even more. With extra time and freedom, I can fully immerse myself in the beauty and creativity that spring inspires.
One project that recently caught my eye was a laser-cut welcome sign adorned with flowers—a perfect nod to the season. The finished piece turned out beautifully, and the journey of cutting, painting, and assembling it was just as rewarding. Each step brought its own lessons and a deeper appreciation for the craft.
I’m excited to dive into more projects like this, experimenting with both familiar designs and fresh ideas. If you’ve got a vision for a custom sign or a concept you’d love to see come to life, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something meaningful together.
