Today was a very productive day in the Hobby House.
My niece sent me a screen shot of a football theme ornament and asked if I could make something like it for her twin sons. All I needed was their jersey numbers and I was off to the races creating. From concept to finished product my creative juices were flowing strong. I had some scraps of leather in the hobby house and I thought I could incorporate it as a medium since footballs are made from leather. Well all I can say is these turned out awesome and I was very happy with the leather backer. It just adds to the football theme. The boys should be quite impressed with their custom Christmas ornaments because I don’t know of any that are made of leather.
This is how it happens: a thought or idea magically turns into a custom designed craft. Very satisfying.
